Daily Rates Include
- Service of an experienced professional hunter, trackers and skinners, camp personnel and hunting vehicle.
- Accommodations, meals, beverages ( soft drinks only and wine) and daily laundry service.
- Field preparation of trophies.
- Transportation of trophies to local Taxidermist or Dip and and Pack company.
Bookings & Payments
A deposit of 60% of the daily rate or as requested as per invoice is payable to confirm your booking. The balance, together with your trophy fees are payable at the end of your safari BEFORE departing Monkane Safaris premises, in cash or credit card.
Please note that Amex ( American Express ) cards are not acceptable. Note, that we do ask 2,8% transaction fee on credit card (master and visa).
Packages
Game inside a package can be substituted – at 50% of standard price – for other game.
Cancellations
Deposit serves as confirmation of agreements and arrangements between the client and Monkane Safaris. A cancellation must therefore be made in writing and receipt acknowledged by Monkane Safaris. Deposits are not refundable except where the hunt is called more than 6 months prior to the hunting date. The deposit may then be carried forward to a hunt, the following year.
Insurance & Liability
Clients should arrange their own accident and travel insurance. While exercising the utmost care to the safety of you, your client, and your belongings, we cannot be held responsible for any illness, accidents, acts of God or loss whatsoever, nor any expenses arising therefrom. Each hunter and observer will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to their hunt.
Flights & Transfers
We make use of transfer companies to do all our transfers from airport to hunting area and back. Due to this we need to schedule hunters to arrive at the same time or close to each other, as all hunters arriving on the same day will be transferred together.
Rifle Import Permits
Each hunter has to have an import permit for each rifle he plans to bring along. For information regarding rifle imports, go to www.phasa.co.za
Hunting Season
We conduct hunting safaris through the year, but we recommend the months March through October for rifle hunting and the months June through September for bow hunting.
Export Of Trophies
The trophy export and handling fee ( dip, pack and ship ) depends on the trophies being exported, and they will be charged by the people responsible for shipping, and not Mokane Safaris. Payments for these companies must be directly to them and not through Monkane Safaris. Detailed quotations are available on request.
Safe Trips & Photographic Safaris
Hunters are welcome to bring along the family or observers, as there are a lot of options for entertainment. Should you be interested in this, please contact us for further details.
Donations
- Please note: Donation hunts are NOT transferable.
- NO exchange of animals in the donation are allowed.
- Only one donation package per safari can be used.
